Desktop
W, A, S and D walk. The mouse looks around, and in first person the pointer locks so the crosshair in the centre of the screen is your build target, exactly as in Minecraft. Left click places the selected block, delete mode removes what you point at, space and shift move you up and down while flying, and the arrow keys turn and pitch the camera if you prefer keyboard-only looking.
Touch
A left-thumb joystick walks, and pushing it further makes you walk faster. Up and down arrows fly. Drag anywhere in the world to look around. A single tap places a block when you lift your finger, so you can see the ghost preview before committing. Delete mode turns taps into breaks. Two fingers pan, and pinch zooms.
Getting from zero to a finished house

- Pick a username of up to 15 characters, then enter age and gender.

- The camera starts in first person, above the road, looking at your land.
- Choose a stamp size, pick a block, and lay a foundation across the plot.
- Raise walls with the 1x4 stamp, cut window holes, and fill them with glass.
- Add a door block, a roof, and a pool using water blocks.
- Furnish it with sofas, beds, TVs and lamps, then park a car on the drive.
- Use the 360 degree tour button to orbit your finished plot.
Performance tips for lower-end machines
- Close other heavy tabs; browsers share one GPU budget.
- Use a fixed side view rather than flying when placing long walls; fewer objects enter the frustum.
- Collapse the tools bar to reduce overlay work on small screens.
- On very old phones, avoid placing hundreds of glass blocks in one wall, since transparency is the most expensive material to draw.
