A city built one block at a time

BroadwayBlocks is a free, browser-based multiplayer voxel sandbox. There is exactly one road, Broadway, and every player who signs up is auto-assigned a 30×30 plot along it. As new players arrive, the skyline grows.

Why one road?

Most sandboxes drop you into an empty wilderness. BroadwayBlocks gives you neighbors from day one. You spawn on a busy street with cars, pedestrians, and the builds of everyone who came before you.

Who owns what

Your plot is yours. Other players can visit and walk through it, but only you can place or delete blocks inside your 30×30 lot. Your address is stamped on the sidewalk out front.

Runs anywhere

No downloads. Rendered with Three.js. Desktop players get full Minecraft-style WASD controls; mobile and tablet players get a joystick, tap-to-place, and double-tap-to-delete.
